Sunny Deol’s soft, romantic side image used in “Victory”
Mumbai, Director Guddu Dhanoa has decided to completely revamp his cousin Sunny Deol’s image with his new film “Victory”.
“Both Sunny and I hope to change our images with the film. ‘Gadar - Ek Prem Katha’ too was a love story. But it had large doses of action. ‘Victory’ would be a surprise to Sunny’s fans. Though he plays a cop, he hardly does any stunts,” he added.
However, he cuts down all talk about doing a sequel to Anil Sharma’s historic 2001 blockbuster “Gadar - Ek Prem Katha”.
“I’ve no clue. I am doing ‘Victory’ for Zee and they’re planning a sequel to ‘Gadar’. But not with me as director.”
Sharma, who directed “Gadar - Ek Prem Katha”, is expected to do the sequel. “He’s the best man to carry the story forward,” said Dhanoa.
