Shah Rukh Khan forthcoming film “Dulha Mil Gaya”

Shah Rukh Khan forthcoming film, Viveck Vaswani’s Dulha Mil Gaya, has been on the hold for quite some time. The film was delayed because Shah Rukh gave preference to his home production Om Shanti Om. King Khan, it is heard, hasn’t given dates to his producer-friend Viveck yet to shoot the remaining portions. Only eight days of shooting remain but the actor hasn’t given his dates yet.
According to a source, after the success of Om Shanti Om, SRK wanted Ravi Chopra’s Bhootnath to release first. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh in pivotal roles. When contacted, Viveck says, “I’ve no qualms about my film being delayed but yes, the delay is because of Shah Rukh. He was busy with Om Shanti Om promotions and I didn’t want to disturb him because it was really important for him.” Vaswani adds, “We have around eight to 10 days of shoot left with Shah Rukh. We are waiting for dates from him. I am happy that his film has done so well and I feel its success will help other Shah Rukh-starrers as well.”
It is believed that Shah Rukh makes a special appearance in the film and he is doing the role for his good friend. Hence Shah Rukh is giving preference to Bhootnath. When asked about King Khan’s appearance in the film, Vaswani says, “Shah Rukh has a substantial role. You will come to know after watching it. Shah Rukh is an old friend and I have no problems waiting for him. I planned to release the film this year, but unfortunately, I’ll be able to release it only next year. We have done the post-production work simultaneously while shooting the movie and will complete it soon after we get Shah Rukh’s dates.”
