Akshay Kumar decided to learn Chinese so he can interact with local kids

Akshay Kumar, who will be seen in Chandni Chowk to China, had to learn basic Chinese language so that he was able to interact with the local people.A source close to Akshay tells us, “He decided to learn it so that he will be able to interact with little kids who had come to watch the shooting. He can say how are you…? what is your name..? in Chinese and stuff like that. In fact, he has now decided to send his son over there to learn Chinese and martial arts too.”
Apart from the learning language, he is also practicing parkour, which is a special skill to move through different obstacles in the most energy-efficient way, for this film.
Revealing more about Akshay’s shooting experience in China, the source says, “I was superb. We all were amazed when on our first day of shoot, which lasted for 10 hours, the local crowd recognized him. It really made him emotional. He was there for 6 months but some part of the film is being shot in Bangkok where Akshay spent his early days, so it has been quite nostalgic for him.”
Chandni Chowk to China will also have two 70s songs - Bambai Se Aaya Mera Dost and Piya To Ab Toh Aaja from Aap Ki Khatir and Caravan respectively. Both will be item numbers. Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif are likely to feature in them
About Parkour technique
Parkour is a physical activity that is difficult to categorize. Often miscategorized as a sport and extreme sport, parkour has no set of rules, team work, formal hierarchy, and competitiveness. On the contrary it is more like an art or discipline that resembles self-defense in the ancient martial arts. Founded by David Belle in France, parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop one’s body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency.
