Aamir Khan has thought of an innovative teaser theatrical trailer to promote and launch his nephew Imran Khan. It is 2.5-minute trailer that actually takes tongue in check dig at all star launches and all the hoopla over well toned muscular bodies; including him as everyone is aware that he has the best body in town for his look in Ghajini.

It shows Imran Khan as a huge well-toned muscular guy with all trimmings of a theatrical launch, only to reveal the real Imran Khan who is a boy next door as his character in the film. Aamir Khan Production’s third production, after Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na is the launch vehicle of Imran Khan, Aamir Khan’s nephew. Nasirsahib, who is Imran Khan’s grandfather, launched Aamir Khan in QSQT.

Aamir Khan has been taking very keen interest in smallest details of the promotion of the film. In fact, he is personally looking into the smallest details of the promotion even though he is completely entrenched in shooting for a crucial portion of Ghajini in Hyderabad. (Read the article)

During his Unforgettables tour, Amitabh Bachchan will perform on some of his memorable songs right from the 70s. Vishal of the music director duo Vishal Shekhar, who will be part of Unforgettables, revealed this about the tour which will commence in July.
“It’s not decided which actor will perform the first song but I have heard from the management that Mr.Amitabh Bachchan will do it. He is going to perform on all his hits songs - from the 70s to his recent ones,” says Vishal.”The tour will begin from Toronto, Canada on July 15 so the preparations are currently on in full swing. Shah Rukh has almost finished shooting for his next home production Billo Barber and is about to start filming for Aditya Chopra directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
About the movies, he says: “I have finished 50% shooting for Billo Barber and I am starting work on Adi’s Rab Ne… from May 15. The film will release on December 23. Yash Raj is in the process of selecting a new girl for this role. I hope both will be liked by the audience.”

He adds, “I always feel that my next year is the best year. I have worked hard for last four months and I am about to become mad so I am hoping for a good result.”

The music video maker had turned filmmaker with Shahid’s debut film, Ishq Vishq and had followed it up by bringing Shahid – Kareena Kapoor together for the first time with Fida .Confirming the news Ken stated that the project is on and Shahid is indeed making changes in his physical appearance. Jackie Shroff has sold his ‘Le Papyon’ home in Mount Mary this month and is now on a ferocious house hunt for a five-bedroom dream home for his family. “My kids Tiger and Krishna have grown up so they need their own rooms as do my wife Ayesha and I. Ayesha’s mom is now living with us and needs her room. That makes it four bedrooms and we’ll need a guest room too. That’s why I sold the house,” he says.

Not too many people know this but when Anupam Kher came to Mumbai from Simla, there was one journalist whom he idolized. “And that was Behram Contractor, better know as Busybee. I’d read his columns in Simla and marvel at the way he’d describe the minutest topographical details. In his interviews, the environment truly defined the personalities. Last year, Himesh Reshammiya’s acting debut AAP KAA SURROOR was released alongside APNE and AWARAPAN. Reportedly, Himesh’s second release, KARZZZZ, is expected to hit the screens this October and if rumor mills are to be believed, in the same week as the Aamir Khan starrer GHAJINI. That’s the speculation within the industry.

However, KARZZZZ producer Bhushan Kumar denies the rumor outright. “We are planning to announce the release date sometime next week. But KARZZZZ won’t clash with GHAJINI for sure. The audio rights of GHAJINI are also with us and we wouldn’t want two of our films to clash on the same date,” he states. (Read the article)

Superstar Salman Khan did not perform at the Zee Cine Awards held in London on Saturday because of his allegiance to the IIFA awards, a source tells us.

“Salman is on very good terms with Wizcraft, who organize the IIFA Awards and his loyalty to the IIFA Awards could be the main reason he chose not to go for the Zee Cine Awards.”

Khan was professional enough to return the agreement and the cheque when he decided not to do the show.

A leading tabloid earlier reported that Salman did not go for the show because he was unhappy with the choreographer and the treatment meted out to him by Cineyug, the organizers of Zee Cine Awards.

However, his secretary tells us, “Salman could not attend the Zee Cine Awards because of a hamstring pull in his left leg which he suffered during the shooting of Wanted. He was in Mumbai only.” (Read the article)
